BIO

I started working on soundtracks around 2006, when a friend of mine asked me to make a soundtrack for his short indie game “SouthVille” (canceled as of now). I accepted, having never tried my hands at making music to go with something else, and I chose to go under the name “Blood Pyramid” for that project, thinking I wanted to focus on horror soundtracks after that.

After SouthVille didn’t happen, I stopped thinking about soundtracks for a while, until 2010, in University, where I and a small team were handed a project to make a short movie. The short was titled 20 Seconds (20 Segundos in Portuguese), and I pulled my influences from Tarantino and other movies I was into at the time to make the soundtrack in one night. I felt that the name Blood Pyramid did not work for this project so just started using my own name for my soundtrack work.

Later, in 2012, I founded the Indie Game Development Team Indemonai Games, and together with Daniel Francisco started working on a short Horror Adventure game called “Segatakai”, for which I also composed and recorded the soundtrack. The “Segatakai Original Soundtracks” was released together with the game on June 10th of 2013.

In 2016, discovering old recorded and unused music for past horror game prototypes, I decided to compile these songs into an album. Since these songs were composed in the era when the project was known as Blood Pyramid, the album received this same name.
