Ah, Silent Bomber! I used to be completely addicted to this game’s demo on a PlayStation demo disc back in the day. Great choice for the first episode of this new series, if I may say so myself!
Finally! A Dragon Ball RPG! Wish it was for the OG Dragon Ball but, beggars can’t be choosers! Have been waiting for a DB RPG on the main consoles / PC for a long ass time, so here we go!
True Fear: Forsaken Souls Part 1 is a horror-themed Point & Click / Hidden Object game. I wouldn’t call this a scary game, but it has a nice atmosphere. I love Point & Click and Hidden Object games, and this game is fun!
Palmyra Orphanage is a First-Person Horror game that seems to struggle to achieve a good balance of jump scares and actual atmospheric psychological horror. And by that I mean, it has too many jump scares while otherwise being a very interesting experience.
In this episode, I am haunted by the sight of my own eyeballs. Also, there’s disco, some spicy lobby action and needless crashes (as per usual).
Yuppie Psycho is a weird mix of old school survival horror, Persona and some sprinkles of the Earthbound/Mother 2 quirkiness (yes, that does sound weird, it’s not just you). And somehow it… works?! And very well!
