Hi! Welcome!

My name is Fábio Guedes (a.k.a. Infernyll) from Portugal, and this is my website! I have been creating stuff since I was a young kid. Mainly stuff related to arts and expression. I got into music by learning how to play guitar. Eventually, my path took me to Game Development, and this is where I mainly started building my roots. I knew this is what I wanted to do for a living.

Unfortunately, at the time, there were no university courses related to Game Development in Portugal, so I sat down with Unreal Engine 3, a book, the internet, and eventually made my first game together with my friend Daniel Francisco. That game was Segatakai, a Slender-like Horror-Adventure game which focused more on atmosphere and dread than jump scares. I had always been a huge fan of Japanese games, so jump one year into the future, and I decided to try my luck at applying for jobs in Japan. I eventually landed a job at a Japanese Game Company, where I worked for 3 years. I decided to leave in 2017 to start my own business creating my own games, and here I am!

I’m aiming at having my first solo game running on Kickstarter this year. More info about the game will be revealed through Game Development videos and blog entries. Which leads me to the YouTube channel. I am doing this solo and don’t have a huge budget to market my projects. I always liked to make videos, even had my own channel back in the day to which I uploaded from time to time, so I decided that opening a YouTube channel and making videos related to the stuff I create (mainly games and music) was a good idea! And so it happened, and here we are. Of course, with YouTube I was limited to the video format, and I often wished I could put stuff into text, or even just audio instead, and that is how this website came to be.

In the music side of things, I’ve always been in bands or projects. Most of my bands didn’t really lead anywhere, but a couple did. I also have a lot (4) of solo projects for different sounds and styles. You can find information about all these in the “My Creations” page if you are interested.
